you guys are gonna kill me
I'm sure just about everyone saw this coming, but I have decided not to continue Floor 13.
I honestly did plan on posting it again (I have a great deal of the story drawn out), but every time I rewrite this story, I find more shit I dislike and want to rewrite it AGAIN, and it's just not worth the effort anymore. This comic was supposed to just be something fun for me to work on when I was bored, and it's not fun anymore, so I am done with it.
I hope you guys won't be too upset with me. I do hope to still do webcomics in the future, but I want to do something with a more simple storyline so it can be a fun thing for me to work on, not something annoying or stressful.
I'm xLightsOutx on deviantART, so if you wanna follow me over there, go for it, but I will probably be inactive on SmackJeeves for a little while. Gotta figure out a new storyline to work on, haha.
Thank you guys for being so patient with me, and I apologize for letting you down :(

I'm sad to see the comic go, I really liked some of your characters
however
I do believe you made the right decision. I firmly believe when a project that is meant to be fun becomes anything BUT fun it is time to let it go, for your sake and that of the comic, it was best to move on. So of course I'm not mad. I look forward to the next story you will grace us with, whatever it may be :3~

I didn't have the story finished. I had about a fourth of the story drawn out, so you still wouldn't know what happened in the end, even if I posted that much. I will not post even those pages, because I am not happy with them. I'm sorry.
(If you really wanna know what happens, basically all the main characters except the doctors die lolol.)

The pages have been gone for months now lol. I deleted them because I had originally intended to rewrite the story, so those pages would have been unnecessary once I posted the new version of Floor 13.
Even now that I will not be posting a rewrite of the story, I will not reupload the old pages because I was unhappy with them, and I am uncomfortable with having artwork I dislike posted publicly.

I'll miss you Faen, and your funny name meaning that was totally accidental and pissed off the creator when everyone pointed it out. :<
Honestly, I knew it wouldn't return once you posted the funeral pics, like subconsciously, you knew it had to die. But oh well, if something you do for enjoyment and expression gets painful to continue, then you shouldn't do it anymore, so I think that you definitely made the right choice. Don't work yourself so hard. I heard on your DA post that you got into Wichita, which is fantastic! But you've been working waaaay too hard lately, so I think you should take a nice break or something, okay? Make sure you enjoy what you do Lights, always remember that.

Honestly, if I were confident enough with the storyline to explain what would have happened, I would have just posted the comic online. As I said, I kept wanting to alter the storyline, so it's a little difficult to give a summary of how the story would have developed.
I'd rather just be done with the story for good and not try to explain what may have happened, because the plot was too shaky for me to do that.

I can tell you with the utmost certainty that the funeral scene had absolutely nothing to do with the story dying XD The point of the funeral scene was to show that Ren was already aware of his mother's death, despite not being informed of it. It was sort of a scene to show that his amnesia was unwinding a bit.

YOU SHOULD WRITE THE STORY IN NOVEL FORM. Do it do it do it. Or you could like. Give us the scripts. Just give it to me secretly. You can leave a copy of them under the bench under the third tree on Shady Avenue, and I'll leave money for you in its place. Its a deal.
I'll need to find a pair of uber awesome shades and a discreet black cape to sulk around and retreive your scripts/potential novel...
